In short: the difference
What Bybit is: an exchange with a strong futures side. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Dubai, UAE, its own MNT token.
What MEXC is: an early-listing venue. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own MX token.
What Bybit gives you
Against an early-listing venue, Bybit plays a different game: A venue with a strong derivatives pedigree and an unusually comfortable interface. Spot, perpetual futures and options, P2P, Earn savings, copy trading with open trader statistics, trading bots and a card. Twenty networks for USDT withdrawals — more than anyone we cover — and several of them free.
Strong sides: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading.
What MEXC gives you
The terminal is strong on contracts, but MEXC has its own ground: The early-listing venue: fifteen hundred spot pairs and over a thousand perpetuals, among the broadest we cover. New coins land here before they reach the majors. There is P2P, savings and staking, Kickstarter launches and copy trading. The spot maker fee is zero, and USDT withdrawals on Plasma are free.
Strong sides: a zero maker fee, free withdrawals on Plasma, early listings, 1500 spot pairs.
What decides it
- Jurisdiction. Bybit sits in Dubai, UAE, MEXC in Seychelles. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native tokens. Bybit has MNT, MEXC has MX: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. Bybit: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading; MEXC: a zero maker fee, free withdrawals on Plasma, early listings, 1500 spot pairs.
- Which job. Bybit is a natural second venue in a route: cheap transfers and predictable execution, while MEXC is for anyone chasing new coins and working from a wide list.
- Worth remembering. Bybit: the spot listing is slimmer than the Asian venues with thousands of pairs. MEXC: among thousands of pairs many are very thin: check the book before size.

What people ask most
Bybit: How many USDT withdrawal networks are there? Twenty, more than any other venue in our review, and several of them are free. Live per-network prices are in the table at the top of this page.
Bybit: Is Bybit good for spot? Fine for major pairs: nearly four hundred USDT pairs with no random coins on an empty book. For the long tail of new listings keep a wide-listing venue alongside.
Bybit: Are there options here? Yes, a proper section. Options are uncommon among exchanges, and Bybit is one of the few venues with the full derivatives set.
MEXC: Why does MEXC list so many coins? It deliberately chose an early-listing strategy. That is its main distinction and its main risk: real projects sit next to pairs turning over a thousand dollars a day.
MEXC: Is the spot fee really zero? Zero for the maker — an order that rests in the book and fills. Buying at market makes you a taker, paying the normal rate, though one of the lowest around.
Both at once
Nothing stops you from opening an account on both: it is free, and a pair of venues almost always beats any single one on price. The coin is bought where it already trades, moved across and shorted with a contract on the other — that locks the price while the transfer runs.
