In short: the difference
What Binance is: the largest venue on the market. On the market since 2017, jurisdiction: no single headquarters, its own BNB token.
What WEEX is: a venue built for leveraged trading. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own WXT token.
What Binance gives you
Next to a derivatives terminal, Binance answers with something else: The largest venue in the world and the most complete in what it offers: spot, perpetual futures and options, P2P across more than fifty currencies, savings and staking under Earn, new-coin launches on Launchpad, copy trading, trading bots and a payment card. Nearly five hundred USDT pairs and over eight hundred contracts — and, more importantly, the deepest book anywhere: size goes through here without noticeable slippage.
Strong sides: the deepest book we cover, P2P in 50+ currencies, USDT withdrawals from 0.01 on BSC, 19 networks to choose from.
What WEEX gives you
The rival’s scale does not mean WEEX has nothing to offer: A young venue that grew fast: seventeen hundred spot pairs and a thousand perpetuals, more than many long-established names. There is P2P in dozens of currencies, copy trading, savings and its own WXT token. The exchange is known for the user protection fund it holds publicly.
Strong sides: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund.
What decides it
- Jurisdiction. Binance sits in no single headquarters, WEEX in Singapore. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native tokens. Binance has BNB, WEEX has WXT: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. Binance: the deepest book we cover, P2P in 50+ currencies, USDT withdrawals from 0.01 on BSC, 19 networks to choose from; WEEX: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund.
- Which job. Binance is the anchor venue for anyone who values reliable execution and cheap transfers, while WEEX is for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency.
- Worth remembering. Binance: new coins arrive here later than on the early-listing venues. WEEX: eleven withdrawal networks — fewer than the largest venues.
Which one fits you
Binance — the anchor venue for anyone who values reliable execution and cheap transfers.
WEEX — for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency.
What people ask most
Binance: Which network is cheapest to withdraw on? It depends on the coin and current network load. The table at the top of this page shows live fees per network — usually TRON and BSC are cheapest, Ethereum dearest.
Binance: Do I need verification to trade? Basic verification for spot trading. Full verification, with a document and a selfie, for P2P, fiat funding and any meaningful withdrawal.
WEEX: Do I need an API key for you to show WEEX data? No. The exchange serves all market data publicly, and our scanner works without keys and without access to anyone’s account.
WEEX: Is WEEX worth it for arbitrage? As a source of divergence, yes: the books are thinner than at large venues and prices stray from the market more often.
WEEX: Which network is cheapest for USDT withdrawals? Not TRON, contrary to habit: it is the dearest on WEEX, and layer-two networks come in more than ten times cheaper. Exact figures per network are in the table at the top of this page, since they change.
Both at once
Nothing stops you from opening an account on both: it is free, and a pair of venues almost always beats any single one on price. Money goes in on the large venue and the main balance stays there, while the leveraged position is opened on the other: the deep book serves the fill, the terminal serves the management.
Live numbers
The table above is built from our own market snapshots: USDT pairs, perpetual contracts, P2P ads and currencies, withdrawal networks and the cheapest one. Binance and WEEX can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
Spot is wider on WEEX: 1,671 USDT pairs against 496, a gap of 3.4×. The futures list runs longer on WEEX: 1,000, against 836. Binance lists 19 networks for USDT, WEEX lists 11 — that is freedom of route when you move funds. Binance asks less to move USDT — 0.0100 over BSC; WEEX comes to 0.10 POLYGON. Our scanner reads P2P advertisements on WEEX in 89 currencies and on Binance in 55.
