Binance or WhiteBIT

The largest venue against a European one with Ukrainian roots. This choice is not about size.

…

In short

Binance is larger on every count: nearly five hundred USDT pairs against three hundred and twenty-eight, over eight hundred perpetuals against four hundred, P2P across fifty currencies against one that is not served publicly. Measured by volume, the comparison is over.

But there is one thing WhiteBIT leads on, and for some people it decides everything: pairs against ordinary money. Ninety-two euro pairs here, sixteen hryvnia ones. Binance keeps euro pairs in single digits and routes almost everything through USDT.

Money without USDT in the middle

Going from euro into a coin on Binance takes two trades: buy USDT, then buy the coin. On WhiteBIT it takes one. Each trade costs a fee and a spread, so a round trip pays four charges instead of two.

For someone who counts in euro or hryvnia and does not hold USDT permanently, that is a direct saving. For someone already living in USDT, it changes nothing.

Trading fees

Both charge a tenth of a percent at entry level on spot, falling with volume and with their own token: BNB on one, WBT on the other. The difference here is immaterial.

Withdrawal fees: a wide gap

Withdrawing USDT on BSC costs 0.01 on Binance and 1 on WhiteBIT — a hundred times more. WhiteBIT charges the same 1 USDT on almost every network; only Ethereum (0.4) and Plasma (0.1) come cheaper.

On a one-off purchase that is nothing. On cross-exchange routes, where coins move back and forth, it eats the edge faster than any trading fee. Exact figures for every network are in the live tables on both exchange pages.

Futures

Binance has twice as many contracts. WhiteBIT has a useful quirk for calculations: the funding interval arrives with the rate, and it is not the same on every contract — eight hours on some, four on others. Our funding section annualises from the real interval on both.

P2P

On Binance this is the main way into crypto for hryvnia, and we show its ads. WhiteBIT has P2P too, but does not serve it publicly: there is no programmatic access, so it never reaches our rates.

Which to pick

If you count in euro or hryvnia and would rather not pass through USDT every time, WhiteBIT. If you need a broad listing, a deep book, cheap transfers between exchanges and live P2P, Binance.

Binance, by a wide margin: 0.01 on BSC against 1 on WhiteBIT. WhiteBIT charges the same 1 USDT on almost every network, with only Ethereum and Plasma cheaper.
Which has more euro pairs?
WhiteBIT: ninety-two euro pairs against single digits on Binance, plus sixteen hryvnia pairs. That is its defining difference.
Whose listing is broader?
Binance: nearly five hundred USDT pairs against three hundred and twenty-eight, and over eight hundred perpetuals against three hundred and ninety-six.
Why do your P2P rates include Binance but not WhiteBIT?
Binance serves its ads programmatically and WhiteBIT does not: that section is not among the open ones in its documentation. P2P works on the exchange, but we cannot take the data from it.
