In short: the difference
Bitget is an ecosystem with its own set of services. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own BGB token.
MEXC is the place where new coins show up first. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own MX token.
What Bitget gives you
Early listings are not the only argument; Bitget answers with its own: The broadest spot listing we cover — over three thousand two hundred USDT pairs, plus eight hundred perpetuals. The venue is known for copy trading: trades from others are mirrored automatically and trader statistics are open. There is P2P, Earn savings and staking, Launchpad coin releases and trading bots. Withdrawing USDT on BSC costs 0.01.
Strong sides: 3200+ spot pairs, strong copy trading, cheap BSC withdrawals, its own BGB token with discounts.
What MEXC gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, MEXC leans on its own strengths: The early-listing venue: fifteen hundred spot pairs and over a thousand perpetuals, among the broadest we cover. New coins land here before they reach the majors. There is P2P, savings and staking, Kickstarter launches and copy trading. The spot maker fee is zero, and USDT withdrawals on Plasma are free.
Strong sides: a zero maker fee, free withdrawals on Plasma, early listings, 1500 spot pairs.
What decides it
- Native tokens. Bitget has BGB, MEXC has MX: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. Bitget: 3200+ spot pairs, strong copy trading, cheap BSC withdrawals, its own BGB token with discounts; MEXC: a zero maker fee, free withdrawals on Plasma, early listings, 1500 spot pairs.
- Which job. Bitget is for anyone hunting rare coins and mirroring experienced traders, while MEXC is for anyone chasing new coins and working from a wide list.
- Worth remembering. Bitget: that breadth means many thin pairs — check the book before size. MEXC: among thousands of pairs many are very thin: check the book before size.
Which one fits you
Bitget — for anyone hunting rare coins and mirroring experienced traders.
MEXC — for anyone chasing new coins and working from a wide list.
What people ask most
Bitget: What is copy trading? A mechanism where a chosen trader's trades are mirrored on your account. The trader takes a share of the profit; you take all of the risk, including their liquidation.
Bitget: What does BGB give me? A fee discount and access to exchange programmes. It is an ordinary exchange token with all the attendant risks — its price depends on the venue's own fortunes.
MEXC: Can I trade without verification? Spot is available with daily withdrawal limits. Lifting them, and P2P, require verification.
MEXC: Is the spot fee really zero? Zero for the maker — an order that rests in the book and fills. Buying at market makes you a taker, paying the normal rate, though one of the lowest around.
Both at once
You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. A rare coin is bought where it exists and moved to the ecosystem — easier to hold, stake or sell into a deeper book there.
