In short: the difference
First in the pair, OKX, is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. On the market since 2017, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own OKB token.
Second in the pair, LBank, is an exchange with thousands of pairs. On the market since 2015, jurisdiction: British Virgin Islands, its own LBK token.
What OKX gives you
Early listings are not the only argument; OKX answers with its own: One of the few venues with a full derivatives suite: spot, perpetual and dated futures, options. Plus P2P, savings and staking, coin launches on Jumpstart, copy trading, bots and its own Web3 wallet with access to decentralised exchanges. It runs its own X Layer network, where USDT withdrawals are free.
Strong sides: free withdrawals on its own X Layer network, a full derivatives suite, a built-in Web3 wallet.
What LBank gives you
Compared with an ecosystem, LBank leans on its own strengths: One of the elder Asian venues, running since 2015. Eight hundred and thirty perpetuals and a broad P2P across dozens of currencies — stronger than many of its contemporaries on both counts. There is savings, staking and its own LBK token. The exchange is known for early listings: new coins land here before the majors.
Strong sides: 830 perpetuals, a broad P2P, early listings, running since 2015.
What decides it
- Jurisdiction. OKX sits in Seychelles, LBank in British Virgin Islands. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native tokens. OKX has OKB, LBank has LBK: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. OKX: free withdrawals on its own X Layer network, a full derivatives suite, a built-in Web3 wallet; LBank: 830 perpetuals, a broad P2P, early listings, running since 2015.
- Which job. OKX is for anyone who needs options and access to decentralised markets from one window, while LBank is for funding, P2P and finding fresh coins.
- Worth remembering. OKX: the interface is dense: a newcomer needs time to settle in. LBank: we do not show it in cross-exchange spot arbitrage: it serves its book one pair per request.
Which one fits you

What people ask most
OKX: What is the separate European domain? Users in the European Economic Area are served by a separate legal entity on its own domain. Accounts and API keys do not carry across.
OKX: Is the built-in Web3 wallet safe? It is non-custodial: the keys are yours, the exchange has no access and cannot recover funds. Its safety equals how well you keep the recovery phrase.
LBank: Why are LBank prices missing from spot arbitrage? Because it serves its order book one symbol per request, and a spread computed from last-trade prices is not one you can fill. LBank is present in funding, P2P and the crypto-rally section.
LBank: Why can’t I withdraw coins bought on P2P right away? The exchange holds them for twenty-four hours after the order completes, protecting against payment reversal. The clock starts when the order closes. For arbitrage that is decisive: the spread will be gone within a day.
LBank: How do I fund an LBank account? Through the deposit section of your account: pick the coin and network and send to the address shown. Some coins have several networks, each with its own address — sending on the wrong one means losing the funds.
Both at once
Keeping both costs less than it seems: signing up is free, and a choice of two quotes usually beats one. A rare coin is bought where it exists and moved to the ecosystem — easier to hold, stake or sell into a deeper book there.
