In short: the difference
Bybit is a venue built for leveraged trading. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Dubai, UAE, its own MNT token.
WhiteBIT is an exchange for real-money settlement. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Lithuania, its own WBT token.
What Bybit gives you
The regulated venue wins on money, Bybit on everything else: A venue with a strong derivatives pedigree and an unusually comfortable interface. Spot, perpetual futures and options, P2P, Earn savings, copy trading with open trader statistics, trading bots and a card. Twenty networks for USDT withdrawals — more than anyone we cover — and several of them free.
Strong sides: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading.
What WhiteBIT gives you
Next to a derivatives terminal, WhiteBIT answers with something else: A European venue with Ukrainian roots, registered in Lithuania. Its defining trait is money without USDT in the middle: ninety-two euro pairs and sixteen hryvnia ones, a combination nothing else here offers. There is spot, almost four hundred perpetuals, P2P, staking and savings, a launchpad and its own WBT token, which sits in the market top twenty by capitalisation.
Strong sides: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20.
What decides it
- Jurisdiction. Bybit sits in Dubai, UAE, WhiteBIT in Lithuania. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
- Native tokens. Bybit has MNT, WhiteBIT has WBT: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
- Strengths side by side. Bybit: 20 withdrawal networks, several of them free, an even book on the main pairs, transparent copy trading; WhiteBIT: 92 euro pairs and 16 hryvnia ones, European registration, a 0.1% fee, WBT in the top 20.
- Which job. Bybit is a natural second venue in a route: cheap transfers and predictable execution, while WhiteBIT is for settling directly in euro and hryvnia without USDT in between.
- Worth remembering. Bybit: the spot listing is slimmer than the Asian venues with thousands of pairs. WhiteBIT: USDT withdrawals cost more than on the largest venues — compare networks if you move often.

What people ask most
Bybit: How many USDT withdrawal networks are there? Twenty, more than any other venue in our review, and several of them are free. Live per-network prices are in the table at the top of this page.
Bybit: Is there P2P here? Yes, across dozens of currencies. The section is more compact than Binance, and with less competition for the top rows the price is sometimes better.
Bybit: What is the unified trading account? A mode where spot, futures and options share collateral. A coin bought on spot backs your futures position, and free funds never sit idle in a separate wallet — the whole balance works.
WhiteBIT: How many futures are there? Three hundred and ninety-six USDT perpetuals, with funding published for all of them. The settlement interval differs by contract: eight hours on some, four on others.
WhiteBIT: What is WBT? The exchange's own token. It grants fee discounts and access to the exchange's programmes. It ranks fifteenth on the market by capitalisation, unusually high for an exchange token.
WhiteBIT: Does WhiteBIT take part in your spot arbitrage? Yes. It serves best bid and best ask for every market in a single list, so comparing its prices with other venues is sound.
Both at once
Keeping both costs less than it seems: signing up is free, and a choice of two quotes usually beats one. Euro or hryvnia comes in on the regulated venue, moves as a stablecoin to the terminal, and the position opens there. Withdrawals take the same road back.
Live numbers
The figures above do not come from marketing pages: we compute them from the same market snapshots as the rest of the site. Bybit and WhiteBIT can be compared on facts rather than promises.
What the numbers say
There is little to choose on spot: both carry around 360 USDT pairs. The futures list runs longer on Bybit: 788, against 396. Bybit lists 20 networks for USDT, WhiteBIT lists 12 — that is freedom of route when you move funds. USDT leaves cheaper from Bybit: 0.0700 over POLYGON, against 0.40 ETH on WhiteBIT. P2P advertisements reach us from Bybit alone: 89 currencies.
