MEXC vs Toobit

MEXC collects new coins, Toobit collects leverage and contracts. Different jobs, usually done on different venues.

Compared by the numbers

These figures come from the venues themselves. Volume is missing on purpose: every exchange counts it its own way, and on a few the top of the book is tokenised equities. The bottom row counts the P2P currencies our scanner reaches, not everything the venue lists.

In short: the difference

MEXC is an early-listing venue. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own MX token.

Toobit is an exchange with a strong futures side. On the market since 2022, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own TBT token.

What MEXC gives you

The terminal is strong on contracts, but MEXC has its own ground: The early-listing venue: fifteen hundred spot pairs and over a thousand perpetuals, among the broadest we cover. New coins land here before they reach the majors. There is P2P, savings and staking, Kickstarter launches and copy trading. The spot maker fee is zero, and USDT withdrawals on Plasma are free.

Strong sides: a zero maker fee, free withdrawals on Plasma, early listings, 1500 spot pairs.

What Toobit gives you

Against an early-listing venue, Toobit plays a different game: A young venue with a derivatives character: over seven hundred USDT perpetuals and five hundred-plus spot pairs. There is P2P, copy trading, Earn savings and its own TBT token. A distinctive trait is the spread of withdrawal prices across networks: the gap between cheapest and dearest is wider here than anywhere, and choosing well saves money.

Strong sides: 700+ perpetuals, P2P in dozens of currencies, a notably cheap network if you pick right.

What decides it

  • Age. MEXC has run since 2018, Toobit since 2022 — a gap of 4 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
  • Native tokens. MEXC has MX, Toobit has TBT: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
  • Strengths side by side. MEXC: a zero maker fee, free withdrawals on Plasma, early listings, 1500 spot pairs; Toobit: 700+ perpetuals, P2P in dozens of currencies, a notably cheap network if you pick right.
  • Which job. MEXC is for anyone chasing new coins and working from a wide list, while Toobit is for derivatives trading and for anyone who picks the network by price.
  • Worth remembering. MEXC: among thousands of pairs many are very thin: check the book before size. Toobit: coins bought on P2P become withdrawable the next day — plan around it.

Which one fits you

MEXC — for anyone chasing new coins and working from a wide list.

Toobit — for derivatives trading and for anyone who picks the network by price.

What people ask most

MEXC: Is the spot fee really zero? Zero for the maker — an order that rests in the book and fills. Buying at market makes you a taker, paying the normal rate, though one of the lowest around.

MEXC: Can I trade without verification? Spot is available with daily withdrawal limits. Lifting them, and P2P, require verification.

Toobit: Why is Toobit absent from your listings section? It publishes announcements but does not serve them programmatically, and we will not retype them by hand: the data would go stale fast.

Toobit: How do I fund a Toobit account? Go to Assets → Spot Account → Deposit, pick the coin and network, and send to the address shown. Choose the same network you are sending from.

Toobit: How do I withdraw? Same place: Assets → Spot Account → Withdrawal, then coin, destination address and amount, submitted for review. The fee depends on the network, and Toobit’s spread between networks is the widest of any venue we cover.

Both at once

You do not have to pick one. Two accounts give you a fallback when the coin or network you need exists only on the other venue. The coin is bought where it already trades, moved across and shorted with a contract on the other — that locks the price while the transfer runs.
