BingX vs Kraken

Kraken is good at the way in and out of real money, BingX where leverage and contracts are needed. Not an either-or.

Compared by the numbers

Everything below is read from the platforms directly. We leave volume out by choice — the methods differ too much for an honest comparison. And the P2P row measures our own scanner’s reach, not the exchange’s full currency list.

In short: the difference

First in the pair, BingX, is a derivatives terminal. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own — token.

Second in the pair, Kraken, is a regulated venue. On the market since 2011, jurisdiction: San Francisco, USA.

What BingX gives you

The regulated venue wins on money, BingX on everything else: A derivatives-leaning venue: nearly a thousand perpetuals against six hundred-plus spot pairs. Copy trading is the centrepiece here, more developed than on most, with statistics and trader rankings. There are spot bots, Wealth savings, P2P and cheap withdrawals — 0.01 on Aptos.

Strong sides: mature copy trading, 990+ perpetuals, cheap withdrawals.

What Kraken gives you

Next to a derivatives terminal, Kraken answers with something else: The oldest venue we cover, running since 2011 under US regulation. Its distinction is real money: around seven hundred dollar pairs and five hundred and forty-six euro pairs, more than anyone here. There is spot, perpetual futures with hourly funding, staking and institutional services. Kraken is how we compute the live dollar rate in our stablecoin section.

Strong sides: 546 euro pairs and around seven hundred dollar ones, age and regulation, hourly funding.

What decides it

  • Age. Kraken has run since 2011, BingX since 2018 — a gap of 7 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
  • Jurisdiction. BingX sits in Singapore, Kraken in San Francisco, USA. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
  • Native token. — on BingX cuts fees and opens launches; Kraken has no such lever.
  • Strengths side by side. BingX: mature copy trading, 990+ perpetuals, cheap withdrawals; Kraken: 546 euro pairs and around seven hundred dollar ones, age and regulation, hourly funding.
  • Which job. BingX is for anyone trading futures and mirroring other traders, while Kraken is for settling in real dollars and euro rather than stablecoins.
  • Worth remembering. BingX: a moderate spot listing — rare coins are usually found elsewhere. Kraken: entry-level fees run higher than neighbours — it pays off at larger volumes.

Which one fits you

BingX — for anyone trading futures and mirroring other traders.

Kraken — for settling in real dollars and euro rather than stablecoins.

What people ask most

BingX: What else does BingX offer? Spot with over six hundred pairs, the Wealth section with savings and accumulation products, P2P and a detailed copy-trading section.

BingX: How many futures are here? Nearly a thousand perpetual contracts, more than the spot pairs. This is a derivatives-first venue.

BingX: What do withdrawals cost? From 0.01 USDT on Aptos, which is cheap. Eleven networks in total, with live figures for each in the table at the top of this page.

Kraken: What makes Kraken useful for stablecoins? It has genuine USD pairs, which is how we compute the live dollar rate. Without that anchor, USDT’s deviation would be measured against USDT itself.

Kraken: Why does Kraken have no exchange token? It operates under US regulation, and a token promising discounts and returns is something a regulator may deem a security. Discounts here come from volume, not from holding a token.

Kraken: How do I fund an account if there is no P2P? Only by bank transfer or crypto from another wallet. Limits depend on your country and verification level, and the exchange publishes them on a page of its own — linked above.

Both at once

Keeping both costs less than it seems: signing up is free, and a choice of two quotes usually beats one. Euro or hryvnia comes in on the regulated venue, moves as a stablecoin to the terminal, and the position opens there. Withdrawals take the same road back.

Live numbers

The figures above do not come from marketing pages: we compute them from the same market snapshots as the rest of the site. BingX and Kraken can be compared on facts rather than promises.
