Bitget vs WEEX

A terminal against an ecosystem: WEEX is stronger at trading itself, Bitget at everything around it.

Compared by the numbers

These figures come from the venues themselves. Volume is missing on purpose: every exchange counts it its own way, and on a few the top of the book is tokenised equities. The bottom row counts the P2P currencies our scanner reaches, not everything the venue lists.

In short: the difference

Bitget is a venue with bots and a Web3 side. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Seychelles, its own BGB token.

WEEX is a venue built for leveraged trading. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own WXT token.

What Bitget gives you

The terminal is strong on contracts, but Bitget has its own ground: The broadest spot listing we cover — over three thousand two hundred USDT pairs, plus eight hundred perpetuals. The venue is known for copy trading: trades from others are mirrored automatically and trader statistics are open. There is P2P, Earn savings and staking, Launchpad coin releases and trading bots. Withdrawing USDT on BSC costs 0.01.

Strong sides: 3200+ spot pairs, strong copy trading, cheap BSC withdrawals, its own BGB token with discounts.

What WEEX gives you

Compared with an ecosystem, WEEX leans on its own strengths: A young venue that grew fast: seventeen hundred spot pairs and a thousand perpetuals, more than many long-established names. There is P2P in dozens of currencies, copy trading, savings and its own WXT token. The exchange is known for the user protection fund it holds publicly.

Strong sides: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund.

What decides it

  • Jurisdiction. Bitget sits in Seychelles, WEEX in Singapore. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
  • Native tokens. Bitget has BGB, WEEX has WXT: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
  • Strengths side by side. Bitget: 3200+ spot pairs, strong copy trading, cheap BSC withdrawals, its own BGB token with discounts; WEEX: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund.
  • Which job. Bitget is for anyone hunting rare coins and mirroring experienced traders, while WEEX is for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency.
  • Worth remembering. Bitget: that breadth means many thin pairs — check the book before size. WEEX: eleven withdrawal networks — fewer than the largest venues.

Which one fits you

Bitget — for anyone hunting rare coins and mirroring experienced traders.

WEEX — for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency.

What people ask most

Bitget: What is copy trading? A mechanism where a chosen trader's trades are mirrored on your account. The trader takes a share of the profit; you take all of the risk, including their liquidation.

Bitget: What does BGB give me? A fee discount and access to exchange programmes. It is an ordinary exchange token with all the attendant risks — its price depends on the venue's own fortunes.

WEEX: Do I need an API key for you to show WEEX data? No. The exchange serves all market data publicly, and our scanner works without keys and without access to anyone’s account.

WEEX: Which network is cheapest for USDT withdrawals? Not TRON, contrary to habit: it is the dearest on WEEX, and layer-two networks come in more than ten times cheaper. Exact figures per network are in the table at the top of this page, since they change.

WEEX: What does WEEX charge? 0.1% for both maker and taker on spot. The exchange publishes the rate per pair in its instrument directory, so you can verify it yourself.

Both at once

Keeping both costs less than it seems: signing up is free, and a choice of two quotes usually beats one. Spot and earn stay on the ecosystem, contracts on the terminal. Moving between them costs pennies on the right network.

Live numbers

Everything in the table above is recomputed together with the rest of the site — pairs, contracts, P2P, networks and the withdrawal fee. Bitget and WEEX can be compared on facts rather than promises.

What the numbers say

The spot lists differ by 2× — 3,318 USDT pairs on Bitget, 1,671 on the other side. The futures list runs longer on WEEX: 1,000, against 816. Bitget lists 12 networks for USDT, WEEX lists 11 — that is freedom of route when you move funds. The cheapest chain for USDT sits on Bitget: BSC at 0.0100, where WEEX charges 0.10 POLYGON. Our scanner reads P2P advertisements on WEEX in 89 currencies and on Bitget in 74.
