WEEX vs LBank

You go to LBank for new listings and to WEEX for leverage. Picking one is rarely necessary — people keep both.

Compared by the numbers

These figures come from the venues themselves. Volume is missing on purpose: every exchange counts it its own way, and on a few the top of the book is tokenised equities. The bottom row counts the P2P currencies our scanner reaches, not everything the venue lists.

In short: the difference

WEEX is an exchange with a strong futures side. On the market since 2018, jurisdiction: Singapore, its own WXT token.

LBank is the place where new coins show up first. On the market since 2015, jurisdiction: British Virgin Islands, its own LBK token.

What WEEX gives you

Against an early-listing venue, WEEX plays a different game: A young venue that grew fast: seventeen hundred spot pairs and a thousand perpetuals, more than many long-established names. There is P2P in dozens of currencies, copy trading, savings and its own WXT token. The exchange is known for the user protection fund it holds publicly.

Strong sides: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund.

What LBank gives you

The terminal is strong on contracts, but LBank has its own ground: One of the elder Asian venues, running since 2015. Eight hundred and thirty perpetuals and a broad P2P across dozens of currencies — stronger than many of its contemporaries on both counts. There is savings, staking and its own LBK token. The exchange is known for early listings: new coins land here before the majors.

Strong sides: 830 perpetuals, a broad P2P, early listings, running since 2015.

What decides it

  • Age. LBank has run since 2015, WEEX since 2018 — a gap of 3 years. It guarantees nothing on its own, but the older venue has been through more market cycles.
  • Jurisdiction. WEEX sits in Singapore, LBank in British Virgin Islands. It shapes both the checks you pass and what the venue has to disclose.
  • Native tokens. WEEX has WXT, LBank has LBK: holders usually get fee discounts and access to launches.
  • Strengths side by side. WEEX: 1700 spot pairs and 1000 contracts, a broad P2P, a public protection fund; LBank: 830 perpetuals, a broad P2P, early listings, running since 2015.
  • Which job. WEEX is for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency, while LBank is for funding, P2P and finding fresh coins.
  • Worth remembering. WEEX: eleven withdrawal networks — fewer than the largest venues. LBank: we do not show it in cross-exchange spot arbitrage: it serves its book one pair per request.

WEEX — for anyone who needs a wide choice of pairs and a live P2P in their currency.

LBank — for funding, P2P and finding fresh coins.

What people ask most

WEEX: Which network is cheapest for USDT withdrawals? Not TRON, contrary to habit: it is the dearest on WEEX, and layer-two networks come in more than ten times cheaper. Exact figures per network are in the table at the top of this page, since they change.

WEEX: Where is P2P on WEEX? At /buy-crypto, not /p2p — the expected link leads nowhere. Our rates and route sections pull WEEX ads automatically.

WEEX: What does WEEX charge? 0.1% for both maker and taker on spot. The exchange publishes the rate per pair in its instrument directory, so you can verify it yourself.

LBank: Why can’t I withdraw coins bought on P2P right away? The exchange holds them for twenty-four hours after the order completes, protecting against payment reversal. The clock starts when the order closes. For arbitrage that is decisive: the spread will be gone within a day.

LBank: How old is LBank? It has run since 2015, one of the elder venues in our coverage, registered in the British Virgin Islands with LBK as its token.

LBank: Why is LBank absent from your cross-exchange spot arbitrage? It serves its order book one symbol per request — every pair would take over a thousand calls per cycle. And the last-trade price it does serve as a list is not a price you can buy at, so spreads derived from it would be fictional.

Both at once

Most people end up keeping both: one for daily trades, the other for what the first one lacks. The coin is bought where it already trades, moved across and shorted with a contract on the other — that locks the price while the transfer runs.

Live numbers

Everything in the table above is recomputed together with the rest of the site — pairs, contracts, P2P, networks and the withdrawal fee. WEEX and LBank can be compared on facts rather than promises.

What the numbers say

On perpetual contracts WEEX is ahead — 1,000 to 833. Only WEEX gives a measurable USDT withdrawal: 0.10 over POLYGON. P2P coverage is wider on WEEX: 89 currencies against 89 on LBank.
