Frequently asked questions

What is the USDT to manat rate today?

Current buy and sell prices across six exchanges are in the table above and refresh automatically every few minutes. There is no single rate: each venue has its own, which is why we show all of them.

Where is the best place to buy USDT for AZN?

The manat trades on five of the six venues, with a little over two hundred ads in total — one of the thinnest markets on our list. But read the price together with the ad limits: the lowest price is often available only for a small amount.

Why do manat prices differ between exchanges?

On P2P the price is set by the merchant, not the exchange. The difference depends on how many sellers work on a venue and how actively that venue serves Azerbaijan. Because the official manat rate is fixed, the P2P premium works here as an indicator in its own right: it shows what people are actually willing to pay above the set value.

Is this the official rate?

No. The official rate is published by CBAR and shown separately on this page alongside the premium. The table carries real ads posted by people, which always differ from it.

The AZN market: what to know

The manat is pegged to the dollar, so the official rate barely moves while the P2P price of USDT does. The gap between them is the real indicator of domestic demand for foreign currency. The market is small, a few hundred ads, with modest limits, so a large amount has to be assembled from several trades.

Where the manat trades

The manat trades on five of the six venues, with a little over two hundred ads in total — one of the thinnest markets on our list. Binance holds about forty percent and Bybit nearly a third. At this size a single large ad can visibly move the picture for the whole currency.

How this market works in practice

Because the official manat rate is fixed, the P2P premium works here as an indicator in its own right: it shows what people are actually willing to pay above the set value. In practice the premium does not oscillate around zero as on free markets but holds to one side and changes slowly. Ad limits are small, so a large amount has to be built up in pieces.

Payment methods

The manat market mostly runs on: Kapital Bank, Bank Respublika, m10. The payment rail moves the price as much as the venue does, and the full P2P scanner lets you filter ads by method. How to read ad limits, and why a visible spread differs from a real one, is covered in the lesson on spreads.

The premium over the CBAR rate

The premium shows whether a dollar costs more or less inside the country than the regulator says. For Azerbaijan it is one of the most honest indicators of the real rate, because it is built from thousands of live trades rather than a published figure.
