What is the USDT to ruble rate today?
Current buy and sell prices across six exchanges are in the table above and refresh automatically every few minutes. There is no single rate: each venue has its own, which is why we show all of them.
Where is the best place to buy USDT for RUB?
The defining feature of the ruble market shows up immediately in the venue count: four, not six. But read the price together with the ad limits: the lowest price is often available only for a small amount.
Why do ruble prices differ between exchanges?
On P2P the price is set by the merchant, not the exchange. The difference depends on how many sellers work on a venue and how actively that venue serves Russia. With weak competition between venues, spreads here are wider than on six-exchange markets and persist longer.
Is this the official rate?
No. The official rate is published by CBR and shown separately on this page alongside the premium. The table carries real ads posted by people, which always differ from it.
The RUB market: what to know
The ruble P2P market runs on its own rules: several large exchanges have restricted Russian cards, so there are fewer ads than the size of the market would suggest, and they are spread unevenly across venues. Most deals settle through SBP and a handful of banks. Price dispersion between exchanges is noticeably wider than for the hryvnia, so it pays to check several venues at once.
Where the ruble trades
The defining feature of the ruble market shows up immediately in the venue count: four, not six. Binance no longer works with Russian cards, and nearly eighty percent of ads sit on Bybit alone. HTX and KuCoin divide the rest. That concentration makes cross-venue comparison largely pointless — the real choice happens inside one exchange, between individual merchants.
How this market works in practice
With weak competition between venues, spreads here are wider than on six-exchange markets and persist longer. Payment runs through SBP and a handful of banks, and the bank is fixed in the ad rather than chosen at the time of trade. A distinct risk on this market is having a card frozen over suspicious activity: repeated similar inflows from different people can get an account restricted without warning.
Payment methods
The ruble market mostly runs on: Тинькофф, Сбербанк, Райффайзен, СБП. The payment rail moves the price as much as the venue does, and the full P2P scanner lets you filter ads by method. How to read ad limits, and why a visible spread differs from a real one, is covered in the lesson on spreads.
The premium over the CBR rate
The premium shows whether a dollar costs more or less inside the country than the regulator says. For Russia it is one of the most honest indicators of the real rate, because it is built from thousands of live trades rather than a published figure.
